Jesus Heals Craft: A Leper

A Craft About The Healing Power Of Hope

The Bible tells us of a leper who is healed by Jesus in Luke 5:12-16 and in Matthew 8:1-4. A leper is someone with a skin disease that appears in spots or bumps all over their skin. Lepers were ignored and feared because their disease was thought to be unclean. It could be spread if they were touched, even once. Can you imagine how lonely the leper might have been?

When the leper saw Jesus, he knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." And as Jesus reached out his hand to touch the man, he spoke these words, "I am willing, be clean!"

The craft is a character cone called “The Leper”. It is a simple and powerful craft that carries with it a powerful lesson of hope. All you ever need for our crafts is paper, color, scissors and paste. Go on and get started.
